When we arrived, we noticed several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The walls were dirty, the patio furniture hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, and the air conditioning was locked at a set temperature, making the home uncomfortably hot. We actually had to purchase fans just to be comfortable.

The biggest issue was an active water leak from the ceiling into the living room. We noticed it shortly after check-in, and by the next morning it had become much worse. We had to continuously empty pots and eventually place a garbage can underneath the leak just to keep water off the floor. Instead of enjoying our family time, we were focused on keeping everyone—especially the children—away from the leaking area.
