Home was huge & beautiful. Me & my family enjoyed our vacation.
The house was nice but the host was unresponsive with both me and Airbnb support. They provided us incorrect info which resulted in us being unable to get into the gated community. When I called the host company in a 3 way call with Airbnb the company was not helpful and hung up on me after saying he couldn’t help. This resulted in us sitting outside for an hour waiting to get in.
I really wanted to love this property because it has a lot of potential, but unfortunately our stay was disappointing. When we arrived, we noticed several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The walls were dirty, the patio furniture hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, and the air conditioning was locked at a set temperature, making the home uncomfortably hot. We actually had to purchase fans just to be comfortable. The biggest issue was an active water leak from the ceiling into the living room. We noticed it shortly after check-in, and by the next morning it had become much worse. We had to continuously empty pots and eventually place a garbage can underneath the leak just to keep water off the floor. Instead of enjoying our family time, we were focused on keeping everyone—especially the children—away from the leaking area.
